Birthday of the telephone

Bell and the telephone135 years ago, on the 10th of March 1876, a man called out his assistant:

“Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you”

It was the first phone call in history and the man, Alexander Graham Bell, is considered the father of the telephone. There was a controversy between Bell and Elisha Gray, who claimed to be the inventor of the liquid transmission concept, actually used to make the phone call, but nevertheless, it was Bell who later developed the electromagnetic telephone that we know today.

Although the phone has undergone a complete change before it was officially demonstrated in June 1876, it is that first phone call on March 10th, that can officially be considered the birthday of the telephone.
